6, Planning CTL

i) Review Expert’s WS:

 


 ii) Edit the Consolidator WS:
         Notification (...Distributed to you)->open it
             ->Form Name

             ->Data Selection-> Year Profile

             ->Line Item-> Edit the Request
 iii) Submit his WS to Top Mgt:
             PSB->Worksheet operation
                 ->Enter CTL WS ID
                  ->Select "Submit Worksheet"
                 ->Click "Start Process"
 iv) Move stage from Program Request to PB Request:
             PSB->Worksheet operation
                 ->Enter Global WS ID
                  ->Select "Move Worksheet Stage"
                 ->Click "Start Process"

 To  Review  a budget  WS:
         Reviewer get Notification (Please Review...)->open it
             ->Click Form Name

             ->Data Selection-> Year Profile tab:
                   ->Select Budget Period 
                   -> Mark Estimate -> Close Data selection window

             ->Line Item-> Review the Request

4, Planning Experts : Prepare Program request

    Prepare Program request:
         Get notification (WS ID Distributed to you)
             ->Open it->Form Name
             ->Open

             ->Data Selection->Year Profile Tab:
                     Select Period Year
                     Mark Estimate Check Box
                     Save
                     Close the data selection window 

            ->Line Item:
                  ->Enter Account and Estimate
                  ->Save    

    Planning CTL->PSB->Distribute Budget Worksheet
         Enter Global WS ID 
        Create/Select rule
         Mark all Check Boxes or as needed
         Save

         Distribute->Enter Instruction->Distribute 

2, Create WS:

     Planning CTL->PSB->Define Budget Worksheet
         Budget Name: Orgn yyyy Expense Budget
         Choose Budget Group
         Choose Calendar
         General Ledger Tab->Cut off 
         DFF->Type,Approved Budget Notifier->Ok
         Save(Note Global WS ID) 
        Click "Create Worksheet"

Budget Preparation Steps
1, Set up

a) Planning CTL-> General Ledger         
     i) Define Budget(Open Next Year)
             OrgnYYExpBudMCL 
            OrgnYYExpBudACL  
     ii) Define Budget Relationship
                 OrgnYYExpBudMCL <=>OrgnYYExpBudACL
     iii) Define Budget Orgn(Budgetary Conrol)
             Ctrl+F11 -> select ***MCL
             Click 'Ranges'
                 {1800&1900 => Absolute 
                 2000-3999 => Advisory}
               Select Range->Budgetary Control
                          ->Add the new budget
  b) Planning CTL -> PSB
         i) Global Account Set:
             1.Orgn Position Account Set
             2.Orgn Non Position Account Set
                 ->Include valid range for preparation
         ii)Budget Group:
             ->Hierarchy of budget preparation
             ->Access control in budget preparation
         iii)Budget Parameter:
                 ->Formula for forecasting
                ->Create only the name without formula 
        iv)GL Budget Set:
                 ->Ledger, Budget and Account Range for posting  

7, Top Management

    Review Consolidator WS
    Edit his own WS
    Submit his to MoF 

8, Top Management

        Get approved budget notification
        Reassign to Planning CTL

9, Planning CTL

    Post the approved budget:
    i) Create Journal:
        Run "Program - Create Journals" concurrent request:
            View(Menu)->Requests->Submit a New Request->Ok

                Name: Program - Create Journals
                Parameter->Ok
            Submit->No
        View(Menu)->Requests->Find  
            Select the Request-> View Output
                Note the "Batch Name" in the output
    ii) Planning CTL->General Ledger->Posting
            Enter the "Batch Name" in Batch->Find
            Review Batch->Journal:Review it, close review windows
            Mark the Batch if correct
            Click "Post"
